Virgin Galactic's "space" travel is mere vanity. What would be useful is space clean-up, and boomerang travel to save aviation fuel, long-haul space travel, terraforming tech, lightspeed travel, and the like. Virgin's efforts are like a millennial singing a cover of an old popular song, no innovation, only repetition. It is akin to deploying man-made bird nests to discourage bird skills in making nests; it will deplete the capability of birds to make nests .... Something what Moughals did to pigeons. Ever seen a proper pigeon nest?!
Virgin's reinvention of the wheel achieves nothing,unless it need to be a mere travel agency for rich vain tourists who do not understand 'space', and think it is the sky.
